“Our voices matter and we cannot leave it up to just people in positions of power. It does take advocacy from every single person and industry to say this is not good enough.”

Travis was our top fundraiser in 2026, raising just over $5k! We couldn't do it without people like you Travis 💗

I’m walking this 300km because I spent most of my childhood alone with my mother and older sister, and from a young age I was exposed to countless stories about unsafe men. I also grew up around violence, and in a culture that glorified intimidation.

My mum and sister raised me to be a safe person, but it wasn’t until I consciously chose, as a man, to truly listen to women (and girls) about what makes them feel safe, heard, understood and valued, that I finally saw how deeply society continues to fail them.

This walk is a continuation of my commitment to not being part of the problem.

Every dollar you raise contributes to life-saving initiatives that help ensure every woman and girl can live free from violence - Safe. Everywhere. Always.

Do you still have questions?

Here are some of our top FAQs, but head over to our FAQs page to see if we have more answers for you there.

Do I have to walk to participate?

add remove

Absolutely not. We realise walking may not be for everyone and we encourage you to take part in the challenge and log your KMs any way you are able to.

Try running, cycling, rollerblading or the step machine at the gym! The possibilities are endless 😉

How far should I walk?

add remove

We understand everyone taking part will be at different fitness levels. You should choose an achievable KM goal when you register.

Whether you choose 30km, 100kms or your own km goal, every step you take over the 16 day challenge is raising awareness and funds to help put an end violence against women and girls.

Are online donations tax deductible?

add remove

Yes! Anyone who donates $2 or more through your online fundraising page will automatically be emailed a tax-deductible receipt.
