short walk tonight to finish off the fundraiser. so incredibly grateful for everybody’s involvement and support over the last 16 days - i have had conversations with people that give me hope towards a future of non-violence and reduced hostility towards women, ensuring safety in domestic life for every single woman in the world. thank you everyone for keeping up to date! my legs are sore now okay bye 🧡

2 walks today again…most beautiful hike tonight with my incredibly perfect parents. talking lots about the importance of good, male role models in society and the impact of social media on the circulation of gendered hostility. the conversations i have garnered and experienced as a result of this fundraiser have been so moving and deeply important!!

did two walks today, was too beautiful of a day not to. today’s sings were golden slumbers/carry that weight by the Beatles. the B side of abbey road is always my summer album 🙈

only 6.53km today cause i was SWELTERING IN THE HEAT 💔💔💔💔💔💔 only got 40km to go yayyyyyy song of the walk was Jesus, etc. by Wilco as it was one of my top songs of the year😁😁😁

forgot to post yesterday #whoops but a combined 15km done! and over halfway for total kilometres! song of the walk yesterday was perfect by the smashing pumpkins and today was new kid in town by eagles 🥰🥰🥰

7km today with my new t shirt that was surprise delivered today (thank you UN!). yes I did think it was a pipe bomb, was relieved to discover a t shirt instead. song of the walk is rid of me by pj harvey, capturing my female rage perfectly. happy day 3 of activism guys!😁

today’s 7km walk is dedicated to sweating (I underestimated the heat of the sun) and the random Santa in my backyard. song of the walk is politicians in my eyes by death - punk rock was in my ears the whole way 😛

starting off strong with 11km on this beautiful sunny morning! today was special as I finished an incredible book that is concerned with abuse, called educated by Tara Westover. this book was gifted to me and it was beyond inspiring - it taught me a lot about what it means to stand by yourself in the face of adversity and i am so grateful for receiving it. I highly recommend it for young women in regards to domestic or family abuse. my song of the walk was walking on air by king crimson🔮

Hi everyone!
Last year I partook in this amazing fundraiser to raise funds and awareness towards domestic violence prevention. I am back again this year with the same goal, to involve everyone in the community towards active engagement and support for such an important cause. 
This year, I aim to complete 100km with a $300 goal - but more importantly - I implore everyone to get involved themselves! Donating, reading, moving, and even partaking in this fundraiser yourself is something that I think everybody should become a part of. The more unity and commitment that we maintain towards this matter, the better the world, people life around us will be. And more importantly, creating a future where women & girls feel safe and uplifted every single day, is the main goal that each and every one of us must strive to accomplish. 

Please join me in these amazing 16 days of activism! This is something is very dear to me, and everybody’s kindness and involvement is profoundly appreciated.
