The beacon was lit, and I will answer the call

A close friend of mine, one who I consider my sister called upon me to join the cause. When your friend, family, sister or anyone calls for aid, we answer.

I pledged that I would support her in a cause so close to her heart. I have many friends and loved ones who are women and it never ceases to sadden me to learn how fearful they live.

If I can be part of the change to make them feel safer, then consider it done, I'm in.
