This is for women and girls everywhere... I see you, I hear you, and I believe you!
To my dearest family and friends,
From November 25th, I am going to be walking for a cause that is close to my heart - Gendered-Based Violence. I am challenging myself to walk 100km over 16 days to support the 16 Days of Activism to end violence against women.
1 in 3 women have been exposed to violence at some point in their lifetime, while 1 in 5 women or girls have been killed by someone in their family. This means, there is someone important in your life that has most likely experienced some form of violence.
Safety is a basic human right. Every woman and girl around the world deserves to feel safe, and that is why I am joining UN Women Australia in the walk to end violence against women and girls.
It takes a village to drive change…Help me reach my fundraising goal and we can help to build a better future for women and girls around the world. I also invite you to walk with me and follow my journey as I take on this personal challenge.
