Hello family and friends,
From today — November 25th — I’m walking for a cause that truly resonates with me: creating a world where every woman and girl feels Safe. Everywhere. Always.
Through my own journey and the stories I’ve witnessed, I’ve learned how vital it is for women to feel safe — not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too. Whether at home, at work, at the gym, or online, safety and respect should never be privileges. They are basic human rights.
This cause is very close to my heart. I’ve seen my loved ones suffer, and I know what it feels like. Being the first woman engineer in my bloodline, an educated woman — thanks to my parents for their love and support — I know how important it is for women to finally get what they deserve: safety, respect, equal opportunities, comfort, and care.
Many people put this under “feminism” and move on — but this is way bigger. This is about humanity. It’s easy to lose sight of basic human values, which is why I’m doing my part — not to blame, but to create awareness.
To bring change by conscious living, by choosing with awareness, by making better decisions, by behaving with empathy — every single choice matters.
I’m joining UN Women Australia’s Walk to End Violence Against Women and Girls to support programs that protect and uplift women, and to help create the safer future we all deserve.
